Groovy Wedding at The Hermitage Inn

The Groves’ wedding at The Hermitage Inn in Dorset, VT, was an absolute blast. The inn is among my 12 favorite wedding venues in Vermont, and it set the scene for a day packed with good vibes.

Sami’s older sister, a talented florist from California, decked out the venue with vibrant blooms, turning the place into a colorful wonderland. This family touch added an extra layer of warmth and love to the celebration.

Personal Touches

Sami rocked a stunning pink dress, just like her Mom did on her own wedding day years earlier. The dress was a perfect match for the bright flowers and added a unique, personal flair to the event.

One of the coolest moments of the day was when Sami and Tim snuck away to the library for a private post-ceremony moment. They shared h’ors devours and soaked in the joy of finally being married. This chill time let them savor the significance of the day amongst the buzz of the festivities.

Retro Reception Decor

The reception decor was a total trip. It featured amber crystal goblets, photos of their grandparents’ wedding days, and a vintage multi-tier cake with maraschino cherries. They were retro touches that everyone loved. The couple also paid tribute to their cute cats with custom stickers and cocktail napkins.

All day long, the couple’s excitement was totally contagious. Their happiness spread to everyone around, making their wedding an unforgettable event. From the vibrant florals to the heartfelt personal touches, their celebration at The Hermitage Inn was a beautiful reflection of their love story.
